ELM 3 Clinical Skills Semester 2 Practice OSCE

OUMSA and the ALM team are excited to be giving you all the opportunity to calm those nerves and have a chance to practise your clinical skills in a timed mock OSCE scenario before your exams! This time, we will have 1x history and 1x examination for each student, based on your learning in clinical skills this year, and you will get instant feedback from an ALM student about how you went, with tips on how to improve. Patients will be provided, so you will only be carrying out the consultations.

The event will be held on Saturday 5th October at Hunter Centre from 4.30-7.30pm. You will all be given a slot of approximately 20 minutes to complete a history station and an examination station during this 3-hour block – you are not required to be there the whole time! You will be emailed on the Tuesday prior about your allocated 20-minute time slot, so please provide your email on the ticket form so that we can contact you.

Tickets are $7.50 and please note that there are limited spaces to 42 students, so be in quick! On the day, please remember to come at least 10 minutes prior to your slot and also to bring any equipment that you may want to bring – steths, tendon hammers etc. Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
