- Relationships with TOKO, PIHPSA, ROMSA, NZMSA, and all OUMSA affiliated groups

Promoting UNITY within the ELM cohort
- Hosting annual ELM events, e.g., AGM, Orientation Week
- Hosting events for specific year-levels, such as the annual demi-grad and end-of-year events
- Participating in university-led initiatives, such as Social Sports
- Facilitating student-led Study Buddy tutorials to promote learning in a shared environment
Being TRUE to the needs of our students
- Surveying the ELM cohort annually for insight to their needs
- Being transparent in our processes, such as creating monthly newsletters
- Public general meetings to engage with the ELM student body
- Offsetting costs where possible to ensure resources and opportunities are accessible
Ensuring EQUITY is at the forefront of OUMSA activities
- Advocating for student issues
- Ensuring adequate representation from all students within the cohort
