The New Zealand Medical Students’ Association (NZMSA)

NZMSA’s vision is to represent and unite New Zealand medical students on the views, issues and concerns relevant to them. NZMSA recognises that the overall purpose of its work is to improve the health outcomes of all New Zealanders. Please visit the NZMSA website at www.nzmsa.com for more information.
NZMSA has recently persuaded the government to extend student loan limits (previously a maximum of 7 years) for postgraduate medical students which has meant that they are able to finish their medical degrees without having to find their own finance to pay for their final year(s).
