Rapunzel, daughter to the King and Queen of Castle Street, was born with magical golden blood. Needing its healing properties for himself, the nefarious Doctor Gothel kidnapped Rapunzel, using her blood to stay young and healthy, forever.
Hidden away in the University Clocktower for eighteen years, Rapunzel studies health science to pass the time, but yearns for friends and a life beyond her bedroom walls.
But, her life is soon changed forever when she encounters the legendary thief Flynn Rider…
