MARKING OUR 50TH ANNIVERSARY

Med Revue is the Faculty of Medicine – Dunedin’s annual theatre production, crafted and performed by our second- and third-year medical students to raise funds for charity.

This year, we celebrate our 50th anniversary – a very special milestone. A real testament to the power of student-led theatre, creativity and the connection that the Faculty of Medicine – Dunedin shares with the community.

Each year, Med Revue brings together hundreds of students, staff, and members of the public for a series of sold-out, high-energy performances, selling more than 1,000 tickets and raising well over $10,000 for our chosen charity.

In 2026, we are collaborating with the local Dunedin charity, The Mount Cargill Trust, to help raise funds for the important work they do supporting children and adults living with intellectual and learning disabilities and/or an autism spectrum diagnosis.

Join us on our journey as we take to the stage and celebrate Med Revue – “the best thing you’ll do at medical school!”

A Cause Close to Our Hearts.
Every year, we champion a charity doing extraordinary things. Discover our 2026 charity partner and the difference they’re making.

Over the past five decades Med Revue has become a cherished tradition within the Otago medical community.

Our Med Revue 50th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday 2nd August 1-3 pm will honour this legacy while looking ahead to the future bringing together past and present performers, backstage crew, staff, representatives from our chosen charities and supporters for a truly special event.

Join us for an afternoon of fun, connection, celebration and a trip Down The Rabbit Hole as we celebrate 50 years of Med Revue magic!
