Knitting for NICU

This category contains 0 posts

We are an OUMSA Charity group working to provide the Dunedin Neonatal IntensiveCare Unit (NICU) with handmade knitted blankets, booties and jumpers, in order to give back to the Dunedin community who supports us as medical students. We have found that providing this support to the parents of the babies in NICU puts a smile on their face and helps encourage them during this stressful time. We also aim to introduce medical students to the relaxing, stress-reducing hobby of knitting by providing the resources and support they need in order to learn and improve.
