This year we had a great turn out to the Relay for Life, with a team of about 60 of ELM and ALM students walking all night for the fight! With the majority of people coming for the first few hours, we were bound to have a great night! Despite the number thinning out as the hours went and the temperature dropped, we constantly had a member of the team on the circuit. By the time the sun rose, our numbers started to climb and those who had more than a couple of hours sleep stepped up to carry the team to the finish. In total the Med Students team raised over $1500 and in total the event raised over $70,000 for the Cancer Society of New Zealand.

A big thanks to all of those who took part (especially those who stayed all night) and to those who donated. On the whole it was a great night, showing a lot of support for Cancer Research in NZ!
